Tonight I go to leave the gym. Go to grab my keys off the peg board, not there. WTF, who grabs the wrongs keys. Ask the girl at the desk if anyone brought back a set of keys. Nope. Cars still in the parking lot. So I wait ten minutes to see if someone brings them back. Get to thinking about who had a similar situation happen to him a few weeks back at the ice rink. Person took his keys, went to his car, took his jacket, iphone, and itouch and then left the keys on the seat. So I decide to go see if maybe some asshole did the same to me. Sure enough, cars unlocked and the keys and sitting in the cup holder. Son of a bitch! Take a look and someone definitely went through my car looking for something. Not sure what exactly but nothing appears to be missing. I mean my $200 pair of Oakleys were left sitting on the passenger seat.
I just dont get it. The scum out there these days. I wish I would have walked out while they were there going through my car. I have never been in a fight but I can guarantee you that person would not have walked away from that situation. And apparently im not the only person that this has happened to lately. So frustrating...I dont think I had any type of paperwork that would have been of a have to call my bank and notify them just in case. The last think I want is to be a victim of identity theft.
My wife's account was compromised once. Someone rented condos in Florida with the number. I went to the bank, they told me that I had to make an attempt to get the money back, and I wasn't happy. Ashley had a miscarriage that morning, and I wans't in the mood. Ended up the girl just filed the paperwork and got our money back. A week later my number was compromised (bank denied transactions. They never got any money). Then my cousin's(different bank). We figured that it had to be that the gas pumps at Sheetz had a card reader because it was the only place that all three of us used our cards at. My cousin was home from Honda of Ohio for a week. I called Sheetz, and they were very appreciative and checked it out.
As for breaking into one of my vehicles...if I'd ever catch someone...they better be able to run 900 ft/sec. I hate thieves.
