also, i read that i should install the vtm signal wire, and hear that i shouldnt. i think im going to take it to someone who is experienced with the install. thanks ya'll

i have no trouble connecting wires and stuff like that, but i have no idea how to set up my parameters. it also mentions not to start the car without having them set or it will cuase servere engine damage. can anyone help me out with step by step instructions or just take to a shop.

yup, but still check engine light. I even took off the negative on my battery, "but no cigar".

its a b16a2 in a 97 civic coupe ex. whats wierd about it is that my cluster is still working.

i got the code read and its throwing code "(17) Vehicle Speed Sensor Circuit Short or open in VSS circuit, bad VSS". just wondering if i can get some advice from ya'll on fixing this prob. thanks, Jes
