It was ok. Sucked being away from my family (especially since Elise was 3 weeks old when I left) but other than that it was cake. My biggest worry was what I was going to write my daily report on, especially if nothing remarkable had happened.

You def. do not need to be an "eleven bang-bang" to go airborne or rangers.

yeah, i don't really have anything like that to worry about here. of course it will be hard being away from my dad and brother, and a couple close friends.

yeah i know, the other jobs that do make you eligible dont really appeal to me though.

What are your other options MOS-wise? Have you taken the ASVAB yet?

this is pretty much what i can do:

Combat engineer, fire support specialist, MP, infantry...those are the jobs that i was told that would qualify me for rangers that are in my states top MOS list.

You can alsodo intel. i have a bunch of imagry intelligence guys who are also rangers. so there can be more options. fire support is awesome.
