I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Allright.... I allready spread the word about scrapping the ee8... about going all-out on some EG yet to buy... stuff like that...

but

I can also patch the rex... so it will pass inspections next december... drive the car for like... 18 months / 2 years more and then save up for uhmm... well.... something that might not be Honda...

choices:
1. FC3S or FD3S (I like the FC better really)
2. CT9A (or whatever the chassis code is for the Lancer EVO I'm able to buy by then... prob a 4, but maybe even a 5?)
3. Skyline r32 / r33 (34 will still be out of the range I'd expect)
4. if I'm very lucky maybe an NA1

or:
go the EG route anyway... get a cheap EG, 1.5DXi... or 1.5LSi... and put in a k20 and give it some DC2 legs to run around on...

or (and I really hate myself for thinking this):
get a 2nd ee8... build one while driving the other, maybe take parts from the moving vehicle... and stay in this game, going strong like I always have... Killing any chance of owning some really cool big ass power car in the near future....

hard to say because the choices you listed are all pretty bad ass. i want an EG project. but then again i would sell my EG to build a 240 > s13 conversion. i know the feeling u have.

s13 conversion is impossible here, due to laws on lighting (as you prob know, light are not facing forward 100%, the passenger side is always aimed into the brush a bit... RHD lights in an LHD country with laws on that matter... you do the math... you won't see JDM ITR conversions here either.... sad really)

but a PS13 isn't so bad either :)

dunno guys... for some reason another EE8 project stepped into my mind and I can't get rid of it... basically, it's becoming a match between the EVO 5, the R33 and the EE8 (yeah okay... EG isn't gone entirely... neither is the rest)

What about an MK3 supra? Did they come with 1JZ's where ure at? Because 1JZ = bad ass motor.

I actually don't like ANY supra... I want SOME looks... besides... those things NEED 1000HP... 1600kg (uhm.. you convrt to lbs) is just sick...

although the GT-R is also a very heavy car... but it just looks so much more frightening in the rear view mirror :)

rb26? nah... I'd just go for an SR20 in an s13 than... 550+hp on stock bottomend...
