i wouldnt go for it... imo. i would fix what needs fixed on yours and eiter swap heads or turbo it. you say turbo cars need alot of maintnence? so does a NA car.
from what all wrong with his it seems like it will be a headache in the long run... i think the only thing you are looking at is the motor.. yeah it has vtec big deal. with some money u could vtec your motor and outperform that b16 anyday. keep your car. fix the few minor things that need fixed with the money you were going to dish out for the other car and save for a head swap.. there is your vtec. a car in better condition and more power.

meah, im not a fan of ls/vtec specially in a daily driver. and i test drove the car some more today and the motor is fine but there's only one thing that im worried about, i can't find ne thing wrong with the car but the ecu is throwing some code.... i think it may just be an emessions code but i have no idea. ne one know? it blinks 2x slowly, pauses, blinks 2x again slowly, pauses, blinks 3x quickly and then starts over again. ne one know? it's a b16a. but ne way the biggest problem is the car just needs some body work done but nothing major, and can be easily fixed. and it would probably cost me more to buy a b16 and swap it in my integra. i don't know, we'll see how it goes, dude says he's gonna get it to where im happy to take it and it's running mint. i don't care a whole lot about body, the frame itself is fine so no worries there otherwise i really wouldn't even go near the car. but like i said it runs like a champ and shifts fine, no grinds in the tranny, no knocking, no smoke, nothing.

okay i did some research on g2ic.com and apparently the ELD won't effect how the car runs, just fuel economy? "It varies alternator output to help improve fuel economy. " so no big deal there i guess....
but im confused on the KS, they were saying vtec would still work, some were saying u don't need a KS necesarily and that it's basicly just a microphone of some sort or someshit to listen for detonation or some shit. and some were saying vtec wouldn't even engage and redline would be less, like at 7K RPM's or something???
