I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Too broad a generalization, but I know what you're saying :) Depends on the situation, I've noticed most NA guys run best toward 15:1 (but not AT 15:1..) and the FI cars tend to need a richer tune, closer to 12.5-13:1 and less timing.

Spoon: I'm not sure particularly why in this case, but I'd guess that the LS's larger injector is meant to work with the LS ECU's pulsewidth. D series injectors, being most likely smaller, would tend to lean out running the LS's map.

Wrong NA cars make most power around 13.5:1 boosted cars richer. There is a reason for this I will let you find out why on your own.

What I want to know is how your car possibly idles with no IACV control?

B-series and D-series have the same cc injectors; 240cc. So that shouldn't be a problem. But now that I'm really thinking about it (and it's making my head hurt), I guess it could run lean if the injector pulse timing was off from the ignition and valve timing. Like if the injectors spray when the intake valves are closed. But couldn't you just adjust the valve and ignition timing to compensate a little, if this did happen? And what are the chances of this actually happening?

The y7 engine uses 190cc injectors. Its running lean, if that is the case because the ECU thinks it has 240cc injectors that the Integra would have.

My point this whole time is unless this car has a manifold swap and uses the common 2 wire IACV it will not idle or run past 3500 RPM. Another sensor that is different between the motors id the CFS another check engine light would be found with this.

Any flow chart or anything to back that up? I'm not trying to be a dick and contradict anyone or anything. I've just seen so many different sites give out 3 different answers, some sites alone even has 2-3 different answers. Some sites say that all D-series and B-series are 240cc, some say all D-series are 190cc and all B-series are 240cc, and some say that some of the D-series are 190cc with the rest being 240 cc (along with B-series also being 240cc). I just went with what I've seen the most, that all are 240cc. I'm curious if anyone has actually tested stock injectors and posted up their findings. And I've been searching on and off for a few years now looking for this info, but can't seem to find it anywhere.

Edit: I did notice that the injector part numbers are different from the '92-95 CX/VX and the Si/EX/DX, as well as the '96-'00 DX/LX and the EX's. So obviously I was at least partly incorrect, if not completely.

yah it idles like ass (bouncing from say 1300 to 1500rpms) but i dont care, i only run the ECU when i get up to the line to race.. it wouldnt run richer because the 190cc injectors, today i put some 240cc injectors on and a Air/fuel gauge it ran tooooo rich WOT and really lean at idle, so i got a fuel regulator but it doesnt fit on my stock Y7 rail. i got my Z6 rail but the fuel line doesnt hook up to it. so im back to stock right now, as i find a Y8 rail or a EG fuel line..

BTW all free parts lol

at least you put an a/f gauge to it...even if it isn't a wideband.
