I know how you feel man. i started my new job with Goodyear at World HQ in Akron two weeks ago. Starting into my third week and so far everything is pretty cool

well ill tell ya what. for the first day i was sweating it more then i should have. it wasnt so bad. the paper work is a little overwhelming at first but i think im picking up on it a little bit.

the time card/sheet on the other hand has me nervous. they gave me a notepad and a pen to log everything during the day. it would be easier with a day planner, they are going to get me 1 of those. i came home and sorted everything out to the best of my ability on iCal and had it sync to my iPhone. so hopefully i did it right. if so i can see this iPhone really getting used a lot with this job, and honestly that really pumps me up.

the job itself wasn't really bad either. as a matter of fact, it was really easy. But it was my first day so they were not going to throw me to the wolfs just yet and send me on my own. so i went to 2 jobsites today and shadowed 2 different guys. the 2nd job i took it upon myself to try the paperwork and some of the testing on my own and rob was quite pleased with how i did. SO thats good.

tomorrow is another day. for the new job so far.
i guess the worst part is not being with the guys i knew from working in a plant for 6 years. its a whole new ball game on the different job sites.

i need to find time to apply to Medical College of Wisconsin, but I never have free time to call during the day to talk to HR to see if traffic tickets should be listed on civil offensives.
