Not many people have tire warmers until they reach the competition level. You'll always be building up speed as the day progresses, so remember to get the heat back into the tires at the beginning of each session.
Gear can be found on message boards, but you'll want to get sized up. That way you can jump on deals.

personally i think gear is like underwear, you dont wear used ones. but i do need to get sized up. what size is yours so i can get a feel for what its like and can i come try it on?
