I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

I just went out to move my car from my "create-a-spot" and it's 1:45 in the morning, so figure 1:30 am, in the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee area. I had an encounter with a crackhead, it went thusly:
*close door behind myself, think, "Fuck, there's no open spots on the street, I have to search around..." I walk down my stairs and notice Cracky McCrackhead, I ignore him and silently hope that he doesn't stab me as I actually have no cash on myself, which would only enrage Cracky, leading to more stabbing...
"Good evening!" cries Cracky, in a distinctly gruffy voice. I have a slight heart-attack, I fear being stabbed. He then bows, I think, "Buddhist?"
"Good evening." I respond, hoping to satisfy his desire for recognition only long enough to get in my car and lock that mother fucker out, preventing any stabbing.
"Drive safe now, ya hear?" requests Cracky, 'ya hear?' being said slightly deeper and more intense, causing me to wonder, "Is he really concerned? Does he think I'm drunk? Did he have friends who once were drunk and then drove, causing injury or death? Was it a situation that he could have prevented by asking them to drive safe? Does he worry that they may have not heard him say this, explaining his additional 'ya hear?'."
"Ok, thank you, I will." is my desperate attempt at an answer good enough to keep him walking away from me, ending the conversational attack I'm under.
"Good, because the life you save, could be, YOUR OWN!" I am now, legitimately, terrified/confused/annoyed/grateful all at the same time.
"Thanks. Good night." I reply as I slide into the Subaru coupe. He nods, pulling his headphones tighter onto his head.
As I drive past him, he waves, but doesn't look. I assume he was waving to me, but perhaps he was sieging an attack on someone else? Is there a stab victim slowly bleeding to death outside on North Cramer Street in the fashionable East Side? I doubt it. I found a spot, just around the corner, but due to the fact that my road is a one-way, I had to drive around the block, find a spot by the church that I've never gone to, only to decide not to park there due to the "no parking 7am-9pm on school days" restriction. I then parallel parked in a spot no further than 100 yards from where Cracky attacked me.
I walked back the entire distance from car to home clutching my keys with my mini Swiss Army knife blade ready should Cracky reappear. Now I was hunting him, but all the same my heart raced, the terror I felt as a victim still coursing through my veins. I got home alright, thanks for your concern.
