and now im thinking that it was a bad idea in the first place

there is a really cute girl i work with, and me and the other cooks were talking about her and whatnot, and they talked me into doing it
i figured ill feel like an ass if i asked her, but then id feel like even more of an ass if i didnt, so i asked her out, and got turned down, no reason, she just didnt want to...
soooooooooo, now i think that was pretty stupid for me to do that, since now, i have to see her everytime i go to work, and i get to feel like an ass everytime i go there now

Tell her that SHE'S the ass for turning you down. Then you won't feel like an ass...OR you could feel HER ass.

you never would have known if you didn't ask her, think of it that way. i'd be more proud to have asked and have been turned down v. not having asked at all. go find someone else, she's not worth it.

hmmm, im not too quick with the witty comebacks, one of those would have been a good laugh for me, or maybe just a fist in my face, but hey, you gotta take some kind of risks once in a while i guess

maybe ill do something like that the next time i get turned down by a girl

At least you can say "She turned me down once I got the balls to ask her out" instead of "I never had the balls". Plus you can laugh at anyone else that gets turned down by her.
