My videos aren't the quality they used to be when I was using quicktime to import them. Now I'm using Windows movie maker, my Dell Insp. 5100, a sony handycam, and a 1394 firewire. I am using the "high" quality setting in WMM, but I noticed there is a "other" setting, and it appears I can select an even higher level of quality. Any advice?? I wouldn't be so concerned except that it is difficult to make out the pylons sometimes... To see what I mean: http://upressure.net/koto TIA! |

update to windows movie maker 2 if you haven't done so already. i took a 5meg mpeg, loaded it into WMM2, exported as a WMV using the "Video for broadband (512 kbps)" setting, and the file lost nearly no video/audio quality while shrinking to just a hair over 1meg. |
