So on my way home from work today I stopped at the car wash, then proceeded home. On the way home this EPB Civic sedan gets behind me on a one lane road.

It looks okay, it was definately a show car, carbon hood (sides painted, carbon up the middle), some type of kit, a carbon diffuser, IS300 headlight conversion, red Sparco seats, blah blah blah. It was packed with guys. I can see them looking for upgrades on my car in the rearview. I guess they were sort of disappointed to find a black exhaust, a DOHC VTEC badge (from the Prelude) between the taillights, and my "Traffic safe" sticker that was a gift from my Japanese friend Toshi. As soon as the road split into two lanes, they decided to turn left as I signaled right. They pointed out the window at the car and then gave it a thumbs down. WTF? I guess A clean CRX isn't good enough.

This is the first time anyone gesturing to me in traffic has given me anything but a thumbs up or the finger. OH well. Thanks for reading...

At least you know if they would have pulled up beside you on the highway you wouldn't have seen the thumbs down unless you looked in the rearview.

My favorite question is, "What kit are you going to put on?"

yeah, but do you really get upset that a ricer doesnt like your car? obviously, they have no taste to begin with :P

man i just got a thumbs down on my car today but it was from some pot head on the side of a staples building. he's probably just mad cuz he doesn't have a car :)
