LCD screen has a dead pixel so im'a take it back and switch it out, but the LCD panel owns all flat screens.

actually, I have full intentions of purchasing a refurbed 22" NEC multisync FE2200 (or whatever its called) from the computer show for 250$. 3 month warranty for a 22" TRINITRON trueflat monitor. 2048x1990 or something like that for resolution. /me pees himself.

$250, not bad........but i dont trust refurbished items. theres usually a REASON the warranty sucks.

we've bought monitors from them for several years. They're good guys, usually if the thing acts weird I'll call them and we'll take the monitor back before the warrantey and they just exchange it with a new refurb.

i personally luv refurbs, my cousin used to refurb, i frogot what company, like kenwood or something, and they basically rebuild it from scratch

yeah, typically the whole screen gets replaced, all the guns and everything. I still have a refurb monitor I kept around for commandline shit, since its only a 14" that does 800x600. But at any rate, its from 1990 :>. /me dreams of a 22" trinitron.
