So, I just discovered this crazy Saosin band a few weeks ago. It's become my default "gym music" and has helped me shave a couple minutes off of my 2 mile. So I started reading about the band's history.. I think I like the old singer, Anthony, better. Cove doesn't mesh well with the more-aggressive Saosin. Along those same lines, Anthony's screamo style doesn't go with Circa Survive as well as it went with Saosin. Cove didn't help his situation by re-recording Anthony's lyrics with the rest of the band.. practically asking for a direct comparison. Bury your head and voices especially were better with Anthony. Sure, you can understand Cove a little better, but who cares? Who's with me? |
