it looks like its already hit a lot of states, probably no big news articles locally because this is such a bullshit move. i dont hate cops. if i am speeding or whatever and i get pulled over, thats MY bad. but imposing excessive fees (granted, its not the police, this was decided way above their level) is complete BS. as i believe the article put it, highway patrol (i think thats what it said, too lazy to click and read again), are well known for being roving tax collectors.
