I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Small Testicles

Post by EVL_Sol » September 22, 2007

So I listed my car on eBay alright. The first question I get is:

What's it like being a ricer? Is it a thrill? Like, why are you using 2.5" piping on a 4 banger? It's not even turbo!! Why? Is it like.. "im a ricer hear me roar" or something? Just wanting to get inside the mind of an every day ricer. Thanks.

The guys name is shimric.

I'm going to respond to it and post it so all buyers can see. My question is, how should I respond? Heres some ideas I have:

1) Comment on how he was the one who looked at the car and asked the question. Something like, "almost as cool as looking for imports on eBay, viewing their auctions, and asking them irrelevant questions"

2) Say something to the effect of him not having a car. Maybe, "I'd really like to explain to you but it's hard to explain to someone who doesn't even own a car"

3) Call him out. A response like, "I will rice...I mean race you anyday".

4) Maybe add some sexual comment like, "4 banger your mom with my 4 fingers"

5) Play along with it. "If I'd use piping any bigger than 2.5" it would let the hampsters out"

6) Give a throwback to the teckademics video where they rip on the mustang dude with a gtr badge. "I'll have you know it is a turbo rotary with nitrous and pistons"

I'm taking suggestions. This is a good one and he leaves a lot open for attack. I'd really like to plan my answer. Maybe I could add some info, a paragraph or so to the auction, about what its like to be a ricer and that I added this so that I don't get asked this question by 8 year olds who whish they had pubes or by 48 year olds who just wish they had hair.

Blow him off in a sarcastic way, if you're going to post for everyone to see. Use the sentence from 6 followed by the sentence from 5.

why not post a link to exhaust piping diameter comparison?

then find out if he's selling ANYTHING at all, and ask irrelevant questions.

If your response will be viewed by potential buyers, it would be best to respond with an answer to his douchebag question.

i agree with toby, hit him back with a legit answer, send a link to a few sites with comparisons and just make him feel like a fuck big time. then i think i might sign on ebay and send him a dope ass message about comparing imports vs domestics and make him really hate his life.

show him flow charts, and given information that supports your choice to use 2.5 inch piping.

My response to his question was, "I'll have you know it's a turbo rotary with nitrous and pistons. If I'd use piping any bigger than 2.5" it would let the hamsters out. Really though, I'd like to explain to you but it's hard to explain to someone who doesn't even own a car. How about, it's almost as cool as looking for imports on eBay, viewing their auctions, and asking them irrelevant questions. Enough with the immature bantering. Please refer to my auction (I've added a section for your question) for a more complete, honest answer. Thanks for looking and Happy Bidding."

Check out the section I added. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... 73907&rd=1

I'd post it but it's huge.
