throttle body issues

I am planning on doing a swap from a d16y7 to a d16y8 vtec ...will i need a new TB for my car or can i somehow use the non vtec one?

If i need a to get a new one, is it possible to use a b series TB, such as the type R?

One more thing, will a TB spacer make much of a difference or is it just a waste of money?

All B series TB's will bolt onto a D series manifold easy as pie. Just make sure you port match your IM or it won't really be doing you any good using the bigger B series TB
