I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Speed Limiter??

Post by 98BomexCiv » February 05, 2005

Hey guys, I had the Civic out today for a cruise and I decided to see when the speed limiter kicked in. Well I made my pass up the bypass first to check for cops. None there so I turned around in the emergency turnaround and went back up the bypass. Came back down through and speed limiter cut me off at 120, and I was only taching around 6300rpms I believe and my ex redlines at like 7200. Is there anyway possible to remove the speed limiter? Thanks guys

its a governer in the ecu I beleive....but, do you really need to be going faster than 120? I doubt your civic can get that fast in the 1/4 mile.
