I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

We all sat back long enough to see our streets filled with 1st gen talons raping everyone. Darren gave them their first taste of what was to come like 4-5 years ago with his LS swapped CRX. We've been wreaking havoc ever since haha. Darren spanked most of the 'big import guys' around here with his GSR swapped, I lit up a few punks while supercharged, duanne held it down last summer ... my first race after i was turbo'd was some 'no joke 12.30 while spinning' AWD talon ... murdered.

This year it's going down though haha ... i'm just going to be an innocent bystander while on stock block... i'll let darren and duanne clean up the mess this year.

We need to have another meet here in altoona at hooters or some strip club or something...

Alright i got my mounts and valve cover today. Just bolted on the timing chaing cover with honda bond, and put the valve cover on with brand new caps and nuts!
Test fitted the avid mounts, theyre pretty nice for the price. The mounts themselves are very nice, the brackets are kinda thin compared to hasports. Well see how they work tho.

Heres some a couple pics i snapped today, i was gonna bolt the tranny on just to test fit the engine/mounts but i dont have the passenger mount bracket yet, its in the mail. oh well

thanks guys..well i installed the clutch/flywheel/tranny and went to drop it in but the mounts dont line up. Tranny hits the rear subframe, but i called avid and he told me to send him pics. So i did and said i have the ver. 2 tranny brackets for the eg rear subframe. This is used so the engine sits furthur back like an eg/dc. Better axle linup and ground clearance, but i'm not doing that setup cuz i'm cheap.

Anyways i just sent him more pics so they can be sure and he's gonna call me back, hopefully trade me for the right ones. Kinda sucks because i wanted it in there this week but oh well at least they have good customer service and are helping me out!!
