I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

the k20 is murderous, but it sits kinda low in the ek chassis with hasport mounts... a few people have destroyed their oil pans on the freeway. not for slammed cars for now.

on the upside.. 200 whp from i/h/e plus hasport is working on a new mount kit to fix the oil pan problems

I'm sure once the bugs are worked out that it will be the mother of all swaps. Hell, it is right now. There's just too many little things to change, problems, etc. for me to do it right now.

It'll become almost plug n play soon.

Mounts = $600
Harness = $350
axles = $400
motor/tranny = at least $4000
+ all of the other miscellaneous parts that you need. ie...clutch line, etc.

Yeah. The K has alot of potential, but for the EK and EG...I can't warrant that money for a stock NA setup. It's on the verge of ridiculous to me.

Hahaha. Its crazy, yes, but you can make a fucking rediculus N/A setup once you drop the fucker in, that was my plan.

For over $7k. Give me a turbo B any day. I couldn't force myself to put that much into a STOCK all motor setup. I'm looking at horsepower versus the dollar.

7k into a K = motor in car. approx 200hp.
7k into a B = motor in car, turbo, and some parts depending on setup (internals or whatever). approx 350hp and up.

I know that the K has alot of potential, but I don't care. You know how pissed you would be if a "dinosaur" of a Bseries walked all over your K swap? I would be after spending that kind of cash for 200hp.
