i got a hydro D sires tranny.. hahah
i need shift linkages
shifter
hydro lines and clutch resvior
3 pedal assembly for clutch pedal

DO I NEED A 5 SPD ECU?????????????????????

there are 2 wires coming out of the auto tranny
thry are for the reverse lights...

please fill me in on this swap i got the extra $ from x-mas cards and i wann get a 5-spd in ASAP! im sick of the auto tranny

5spd ecu would be good yeah.. i know for a B series you need it.. from auto to manual the auto ecu would be going through more data i would assume for shift points etc.. that's all i can help you with.

someone on here did it with their integra... I believe red2teg or whatever his nick is, you should try pm'n him, or posting in the general forum so some other people who might not read this one can maybe help you out :)

you shouldn't need a different ecu you'll just eliminate some wires

You do need the ecu. There's a bunch of sensors in the auto tranny. You'll throw a cel.
Here's the parts list(taken from honda-tech):
5 speed tranmission
clutch (pressure plate, disc)
shift linkage
manual ECU
manual starter
flywheel
clutch master cylinder
slave cylinder
hydraulic lines
pedal assembly
tach (if you want one)
shifter
shift knob
shift boot
miscallaneous nuts and bolts!!

but technically you don't need the ecu for it to run come on munster it's jude he never does it the right way just as long as it runs

common don... my ef is sold and blew up... my ek is gonna be done right and its has been for everything i did to it.. i got the $ now and i dont do shit half ass no more....

the 91 was a mess i agree.. but the 97 is gonna be nice trust me...


but thanks for the help guys... don i need shift linkages... i got a clutch assy and lines tranny , mounts, brake pedal , i need ecu and shift linkages... i got flywheel from a ef and a clutch from a ef.. its d-sires so they should work... i hope... :( .
