Weird! haha But in 96 - 98 I don't really see the purpose, as they had cupholders located down below. Why would you want to hold 4 cups?! That's dangerous, as you could spill lots of fluids all over your nice clean interior. :(

96-98 also came stock with the radio mounted below. im guessing this was another cupholder option then? not sure. cool piece though.

i believe that part is from a pontiac or something like that... my friend tony (nerdsports) bought one for his eg... Some kid on honda tech was selling them a while back...

yea no shit.. in the jdm civic the radio was mounted below and a blank plate OR cup holders were installed uptop..
