I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Type R Rear H

Post by JaySmith » March 04, 2005

Anyone have close up photos of the EK, and EP Rear Type R H Emblem? I have one on my car, and the more, and more I look at it, the more it looks like its from the EP. :(

Mines roughly the same size as the OEM H. But for some odd reason it just looks like its ment for the EP. Thought that since day one. It doesn't look hideous, but it bothers me. haha

i know the feeling. my rear OEM honda lip. when i was installing it my drill slipped and drilled the hold on the rear bumper off a tiny bit. ever since then the driver side of the lip looks hideous to me.. almost like the damn thing is falling off. i plan on buying a new OEM rea bumper and trying again when the car goes in for paint next winter.

Oh everyone knows about the H, because its right there infront of them. The one thing that bothers me, that nobody knows, or can see, is when I was redoing the door handles. The plastic shielding behind the door panel, well I went to town on the passangers side, and just ripped it right off. haha Well my grandfather, being my grandfather, decided to use a greenish like plastic to replace it. Its so ghetto, bugs the hell out of me, but I figure since nobody even knows its there, or can see it then meh. haha

Not to mention the time my vehicle dropped off the jack, rolled into my uncles antique mirrior, and cracked, and scratched my Mugen lip. :( haha I covered up the major scratch (its now considered race heritage HAHA), and the crack well its underneith by the bracket, so when I have the time I'll fix it.

And Jon, you wouldn't have had to drill the holes if you got the entire rear bumper like me. :P

There's a couple of bits on my wing mirrors that i somehow missed when spraying them. You can only see them from inside the car if you are looking for them. Nobody even notices but i do and it really pisses me off. Cant wait to respray those bitches in the summer and i'll make sure those bits are done for sure! :D
