I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

somebody told me the 99-00 EK hatch grill from the USDM Si is the same as that of the type-R EK9...
is this true?
I have this god awfull grill right now and I want the type-R grill... but I hate the aftermarket brands that have bladiebla LOOK or STYLE grills... so I'm either going OEM or CF...
but If the USDM Si is the same like I heard, I guess I'm gonna try to get one of you guys to go to the dealership and fetch me one
thanks

If that's the only difference...that badge is held on by just 3 screws.

If you just take the badge off, doesn't it leave the black plastic behind? Or is converting the Si grill to CTR as simple as unscrewing the badge and noone can tell the difference? I always thought it would leave behind the tell-tale plastic.

the si grill and ctr grill = the same... part numbers and all. the usdm grill was altered a little bit by adding the badge but the badge is removable
so to answer this YES THEY ARE THE SAME PART NUMBERS AND ALL!

intersting... looks like I would only need the grill and the front molding...
although I can't get the molding in the right colour (green was not a 99-00 Si color in the US I guess), I wouldn't be needing the various nuts and bolts...
making the price just over 110$ .. include shipping etc, I might be able to get the grill overhere for what? $150 tops? cool!!!
thanks for the link... I knew of it, but never really checked, as there's nothing much you guys have for the siR CRX I used to drive... LOL
you just made my day, guess you're a .saint for a reason huh...
