well its time to throw out the h22 tranny and put in the b-series tranny. wish me luck i will need it. i want 12's on a stock bottom end and stock head damm it! wil take pics of the install. |

You can buy an adaptor plate to put a B series tranny onto a H series engine. It's been out for a while, but it takes some fab. work to get it to fit....you have to use certain mounts and parts, etc....and the plate itself is about a G.... |

u need mounts , axles, clutch and flywheel, some other stuff as well should be fun. i am going to post some pics of it with the h22 and then the after with the b-series trans. |

No way. B trannies > H trannies. I actually thought about doing an H few years ago and I was going to do the same. No more cables. Solid linkage. Plus then you are open to so many options on transmissions. H series don't hold up as well. |
