Get your pinout for the obd1 ecu and run the necessary wires from the bay into the harness and pin them where they need to be.

Use your stock harness and add the vtec wiring.

Obd1 harnesses are on both sides of the bay. obd2 has one cluster of plugs.

Is it an obd1 motor too?

Ok.

Use your stock harness. You're going to have to splice the injector wires and switch some wires. You'll also have to lengthen alot of wires. There's alot of plugs that you have to splice because the obd1 has round plugs on some sensors. You're also going to have use obd2 distributor guts so the plugs match unless you feel like splicing everything. Then you can plug in the jumper harness and run the obd1 distributor.

Good luck. It was a long time since I did mine, but just take your time.

To use the obd1 distributor guts you have to cut the dizzy plug off of the obd2 harness and splice into the obd1 plug.

The main reason you have to cut and splice are different plugs and the wiring harness being too short.
