Post subject:  power window conversion 99 ctr to 96 cx

Ok guys i need some help with this one, i got the parts to do a power conversion off of a 99 civic type R, i got the panels switches etc, basically the panel and everything inside them off of a 99 civic type R, i know i need a floor wiring harness, and possibly some other parts but i think this is all i need, i dont have one pice i know for the locks but here is my questions i had heard the jdm was plaug and play then i heard it was not,

1- i know i need a floor wiring harness, but do i need one off of a jdm or usdm and what year?
2- do i have to re-pin or cross connect wires? i have heard i had to then i heard i didnt have to?
can anyone please give me some more info on this if i have not given enough info please let me know and i will provide it i was reading about this on clubek but didnt get clear info so i hope you guys can help me out,i got in this for a good price so i just need to know how much trouble its going to be,
parts i have:
i have the CTR door panels and red inserts, switches and the wiring harnesses from inside the doors and the motors etc, i have the door cups that go around the handles, ,

?-do i need the inside door handles? or the plastic pice that is beside the handle that is the lock part that moves?
i am going to try and get this going soon, but i need some help, i have found out after buying it that it seems like its going to be more trouble than i first thought but i spend alot of time in the car and some more options like power windows/locks/mirrors is one of the main mods i plan on doing well to me anyways the interior is important b/c i spend alot of time in the car, i have a long commute and im trying to get this done so i can get working on the suspension for my up coming motor swap

well since the main switch is on the right side u need a jdm harness. the usdm wires wont reach unless you cut and extend them.

as far as door locks and stuff no you dont need any of that the handle cups you have now will work fine. just goto the local junkyard and find a civic EX or SI or something and follow the door harness wires back and unclip everything you need. its plug and play from there. but like i said a few wires will need extended to rach the correct sides.

i have power windows in my hatch but i used an aftermarket SPAL kit. its alright i wanna get OEM eventually but it works alright.

yeha, you are better off going usdm cause they will be alot easier to find. you can pull them from a civic EX or SI anything with the power windows.
