I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Post by Zero » June 22, 2006

so if i get the type r console how would i get the air conditioner vents to match up? also if i get the type r gauge cluster do i have to do calibrations so it will match up correctly and is it possible to get the car and gauges to be in sync with mph in stead of kph? any help on the matter is appreatiated as im thinking of getting those 2 items but im not willing to go through it if they are too much bs and i have to think everytime i drive the damn car.

if u got the 98-98 the vents will line up. but the 99-00 they wont they need cut back.

as far as the cluster, the speedo will be right but its going to read in KMH instead of MPH so your gonna have to make yourself a conversion chart. every 10 MPH = 12 KMPH.. so at 100 KMPH your going 62 MPH. 40 KMPH is about 24 MPH. keep that in mind and oyur good to go just average the speed with those 2 numbers.
