Would anyone happen to have an easier method of trimming back the passenger side vent to make clearance for the '99-'00 JDM Honda Civic Type R Climate Controls? Or even some photographs of how much vent I'm actually suppose to trim? lol Such a fucking pain in the ass.... |

i just started hacking. they will never line up, so i had nothing to loose when cutting. i used a dremel with a round sanding bit and went to town. |

I figured as much. lol Do you by chance have any photographs of what you cut away? And is this item secured with the reused bolts, or will it unfortunately just be sitting in there? |

mine just sits there there is also a little piece of metal that needs to be trimmed away on the right hand side... where the CTR climate controls are located it bumps a piece of metal. you might be able to try and bolt it up. i never tried mine fits pretty snug. if i had a camera i would snap some pics for ya. but i dont have one at the moment. ill see what i can do for ya though. |

Yea I'm going to try, and make it so that it's atleast some what secured with the OEM bolts, however it's probably easier said then done unfortunately. |
