Post subject:  1st time at the dyno

hit 125.3hp and 95.4tq at 7200rpm.
This was with a B16A2 with a hiper exhaust, race cat, AEM cold air, and a DC 4-1 header while running on a stock unchipped P28. It was better then I thought it would be with the ECU being stock and all. My A/F is really shitty before it hits V-tech.

Modded yes, but running a stock SOHC ecu on a B16.

Get your AFR straightened out and you will make a bit more hp/ft.

Or buy a LS block, yummm. :2:

b16a2 makes

160 @7600 rpm

so if you put in the b-series ECU for this engine, what numbers do you think you'll get???

that's a pretty big loss at the wheel for the SOHC ECU

Thats at the flywheel. You lose so much Hpgoing thorugh the drivetrain and wheels its crazy. Iv seen wrose numbers come from a b16 so atleast hes doin somethign right haha. :P

Does anyone know what the hp difference would be if he ran a GSR ECU?

It wouldnt be too much. Maybe 5-10 HP max, the Vtec crossover is probably lower too.

I think that you will gain more (than people think) by a chipped p28, or a p30, p72. You car is probaby running lean. BTW did you scan the dyno sheet?
