Post subject:  D series dyno

This thread is being made mainly because of a request in another thread. Scans/pics of the actual sheet will be posted tomorrow. Car is a 92' VX Hatch with a D15Z1 e-vtec.
Image Engine mods are as follow:

Injen SRI
'96 Civic EX throttle body
91' Civic Si intake manifold
Walbro 255lph fuel pump
AEM fuel filter
Sun Auto voltage system
GReddy 4-2-1 two piece header
Skunk2 test pipe
Tanabe Ultra Medalion Hyper exhaust
92 octane pump gas

Stock ECU
Stock Head
Stock Block

(I didn't have the sheet on hand in the other thread and rounded to 100WHP, actual numbers are below).

96.7WHP and 111.6WTQ

We will be dynoing again in a few months and will have the following:

J's Racing CF intake
new o2 sensor (I think ours is bad)
102 octane TRICK race gas

We are hoping for at least 105WHP with the above.

And possible head work if it hasn't exploded yet. We use this car for daily driving/auto-x and track days, (on only 170,000 miles, lol). I know most people are going to think that it's a waste of money on this engine but everything on it will swap over when this engine goes if we decide to stay SOHC and get a D16Z6. And if we do something different then we'll have a few parts for sale, lol.

If anyone wants to know what else besides engine work is done just ask.

Questions/comments/concerns just ask.

fun, maybe, but those sort of mods put you in at least a street prepared class, right?

Damn. That's kick ass, especially considering the VX engine is rated at 92hp at the crank. So it's not like you guys just free'd up power, you made power with a little more than basic bolt-ons. I definitely give you props for that. What transmission are you using with it?

Thanks for the compliments guys!

Nikku:

Suspension is just Tokico struts, (the blue ones), and Espelir lowering springs. It's gutted from the front seats back and the car wet weighs only 1,700 lbs. We have 15" wheels and Falken Azenis RT-615's in 205/50-15.

kotomile:

It actually bumps us up higher than that because of the gutted hatch. We run street mod, lol. But, no joke, I haven't lost a single event yet ... I haven't won, lol but haven't lost either. It's fun beating 300hp AWD cars with under 100 and being FWD.

CivicSpoon:

We are actually using the OMG when do the gears end stock tranny. For auto-x 2nd gear works amazing and pulls from 2,000 up ... somehow, lol.

And my finace just made the decision to buy a D16Z6 for it in the next month or so, so watch for that build to be coming up.
