Ok, so I hooked up a stock head unit in my 1992 civic cx. My question is how do I go about getting the security code for the unit. It just reads CODE on the display. If anybody can send me in the right direction. That would rock. Thanks. |

For BMWs (at work) you need an identification number off the back of the unit, not the VIN as you may expect. Is the radio originally from your vehicle? If so you may find it somewhere in the back of your owner's manual. I also edited your thread title. |

if its not the OE radio from the car your going to have to take it to honda and they should be able to find the code for you. |

k, thanks for the help and moving the thread to the right location. And no it's not the original for my car and I don't have the manual. So I need the serial number off the back and I'll call honda. |
