Seeing as I sold my USDM hood a few months back, and it's taken about 1-2 months for my new hood to arrive, the CRX finally has a hood again  It's a VIS CF SiR hood: the pictures aren't too great, but better than nothing... there are no cracks or scratches on it

Very nice. Makes me want to splurge on a VIS to ditch my shitty JDMshit.com hood (worst hood ever). |

underside: real CF or fibre like most ViS hoods? (not hating, just not into the whole half wacked job thing that ViS often does from my point of view... like the useless wiper hole in the CF hatches for the CR-X...) |

New VIS hood s all have CF on the under side as well! And what do you mean useless wiper hole? My crx has a wiper! is the hole in the wrong place or something?  |

most companies offer an option to have a complete carbon fiber understructure, but it's an additional cost as well. i'm pretty sure that just underneath of the front center area is carbon fiber. i wanted a fiber images hood, but when i was looking to order i had just received the new FI catalog and pricing and they didn't offer the one i needed might put it on tonight though, if not then tomorrow. just need someone to hold it heh, i'm too afraid of damaging it |

ah cool... so they got with it than... you have a wiper? yeah cool... now think please... CF is meant for weight reduction... and uhmmm what's the use of putting a rear wiper on a friggin racecar? RIGHT... so they made it for show... |

very nice  i want a CF hood so bad but im gonna have to get hood pins cuz my hood will never close right thanx to my accident unless i cut the front end off and weld a new one on |

so get some hood pins  you can get some sparcos for about $25.yeah, cf is meant for weight reduction, but most of the market for it chooses it for show purposes. |
