Post subject:  ecu problem

ok so i did my clutch this weekend and i have my air/fuel gauge run into my o2 censor and the wire came off i guess when i put it all back in and i didnt notice it so my check engine light came on when i ran it. so i noticed that and then poked around in the engine bay and noticed the problem fixed it and went to clear my check engine light. i read i9 had to turn my key on and pull my hazard fuse and wiat like 10 secs and that should do it. but it didnt. so i asked around. i work at a shop so i popped on the computer and yea it said what i did. but the check engine light is still on. can anyone help me out? its driving me crazy. i take alot of pride in my cars and always keep them in tip top running and this is killing me cuz i cant find a way to fix it. help please

the only thoughts i have would be that you touch your o2 and mad it got bad , and the ecu is reading a bad sensor,( the fuse u took out, did that reset the ECU?) if not try that and see what happens. and/or try putting a new 02 in the cat/header and see if that fixes it bro

hope your hatch gets fixed.

It's possible that you have a short somewhere else along that wire if a different O2 doesn't fix it.

Wiring is a headache sometimes.

this also could be right,
but when i rear it , he said it worked, and then put his A/F ratio gauge back on 2 the 02, and i did this on my EP, and blew a 02 out, and CEL came on, and then it worked fine with a new 02. but i could be wrong. let us now
