So I got bored today, yanked the chipped ECU out of my Si and plugged it into my HF and guess what. It worked incredible. I would have never suspected it to run so good. The only issue it had was I kicked a code 1 which is oxygen content. That probably happened because the HF intake manifold is like 1/2 the size of an Si and it was running retardedly rich. SO heres what else I plan to change to try and make it a HFSI

1. Intake manifold---Have it
2. Throttle Body----NEED IT---PM if you got one cheap with a good TPS
3. Header---Have it
4. Crank Pulley to set it to Si Timing---Have it
5. Chitty Ass CAI---NEED IT
6. Another PM6 ECU---NEED IT---PM if you got one cheap

Something has been wrong with the car from the day I got it and I'm lucky if I can get 34mpg. In a car thats slated to do 49/51 thats pretty weak. So now I think I'm going to try to swap some Si junk on there and maybe I'll be able to do 65 on the highway with all the minivans. I was also thinking about doing a Si head and tranny. I'll keep everyone posted.

Cool man, sorry i dont have any parts for ya but isnt the hf 8 valve? If you slap on the SI head...i heard it gives crazy compression but wont last long. I forget where i read that tho. But if your lookin for good gas milage i wouldnt do the head and tranny

Yeah the HF is an 8 valve but it does have roller rockers which as far as I know will work in an Si head. I'm not too worried about gas mileage since I've changed everything I can think of and still can't do better than ~34
