knocking?!?

When I start my engine and hit the gas whether in nuetral or in gear, it starts to Knock a little, I think it may be a vavlve spring, but it goes away after about 3minutes or until the motor is warm. Only does this if the motor is cold.

is it a knock or a clicking sound? It sounds like your valves are out of adjustment.

Don't worry about it, Just go to honda and get a valve adjustment done. $120. Problem solved, please just pay a honda tech and not some bullshit garage to do it.

Ok thanks it is liek a knock only coming from under the valve cover, doesnt sound like the pistons, I ll call the honda servise dept. later thanks

No problem, I had the same shit happen. It would only knock a bit on cold starts, you know first thing in the morning type stuff. I was always paranoid anyway with the DOHC chatter, so that ended that worry too.
