I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

If you want, give them a call about the harness, because im not completely sure about it.

It would also save you some cash buying obd1, and be more tuner freindly.

personally I would do LS with LS tranny, the LS tranny has nice long gears.. and I like the LS engine alot.... I have witnessed many LS engines handle nice amounts of boost w/o any modifications to the internals... just proper tuning. and then modded they are monsters... for example, cheesefrogs Hatch... that thing is a beast.

i put together a hb for some guy 3 years ago b18c everything he didnt want to go inside the motor so i got him a 3mm head gasket to lower the cr i got him a t3/t4, header, intercooler, piping, and exhaust was all custom, the car had a FMU, MSD BTM, and adj. fuel press reg. ....at 9 psi the car ran 12.65 and ran like that for 2 years with out taking it apart until her parted out the car.....just an example of a simple set up

i like b16 on boost but you have to use a gsr or an ls tranny...b16 is way to short on the gears. everyone has their own opinion but i like the gsr the best (tranny wise)

ls/vtec or ls, huh the only problem i see with this motor is that you have to open it up.. there is no way you can rev this motor and have it last the rod bolts suck and you will spin a bearing

but i dont know what kind of power you want to make or what parts you can get your hands on.......

Powerwise I want something very usable. Usable = cruise at highway speeds on roadtrips, but then have the grunt to get down the quarter decently. I don't want something that is going to blow headgaskets every time I crank on it, and I don't want something that I have to run Turbo Blue every day.

I guess what I'm getting at is a strong reliable swap. *shrug*

As far as parts...I can get my hands on whatever I need. It wouldn't be a problem.

Well a proper tuned turbo shouldnt give you much hassle at all. I dunno I still love the all motor stuff on honda. sure turbo is a great way to make power. But all in all building a badass all motor b-h series is something that you should be extremely proud of.

That goes for any motor, I think. Nothing beats the sound of a blueprinted NA motor. I've just been itching so long to get the chance to mess with forced induction. All of our old cars were NA. Just seeing and driving turbo cars got me ragin' for one. It'll be a learning experience. I think that's why I'm so excited.
