Vtec Problems

I have a 95 Gsr motor in my 92 Hatch si. It has a SKunk 2 manifold on it when vtec ingages (4500) you can feel it and hear it but, around 6000rpms it seems like the car quits making power. What can it be? I have tried everything I can think of. Might it be because since there are no secondaries anymore to bring in more air the cam can't make the power to 8000? And the Vtec controller I ordered needs to get here so i can move the vtec up to ingage at a later rpm.

no todd..get a new vtec screen and get out the multimeter and check that shit you should know better

I did that friday night. Everything seemed good I even took the vtec selniod off of Jimmies civic it kicked in but nothing after about 6500 or so

throwing any codes? secondaries is not your problem.

it throws vtec pressure switch check light at the top of third...but we checked everything it could be and it turns out that the main bearings are bad and it doesnt have enough oil pressure....well thats the only thing left it could be i guess
