I dont know if i have this in the right thread.....I have a 91 hatchback dx... but the other day i was driving down the highway and when i pressed on the gas it backfired twice and then shut off.....when i got on to the side of the road when i turned the key all it did was turn over and back fire.....When i got it towed home an hour later there it did nothing when i turned the key.... I checked the battery and it was charged....Ant help would be great

Sounds like the distributor (or something inside of the distributor) to me. My CRX would do that sometimes and it turned out to be the ignitor.
