Iight so i might have placed this in the wrong forum but here we go. the pulley on my a/c compressor in my civic went this winter and i was too lazy to replace it until now when its ridiculously hot out. So my question is, can i rebuild my compressor by replacing the pulley or will i have to get a whole new compressor? Any help would be appreciated. |

if the compressor spins i dont see why you cant just replace the pulley. |

http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/aut ... 8SANDEN%29 What really matters is if the compressor itself is not locked up. Simply grab the front plate and see if it rotates. If it does then all that has fried is the clutch bearing. A hub puller and a new bearing will fix that. |

Its actually a compressor clutch assembly. You should be able to find a replacement at your local auto parts store. |
