yesterday i just bought an intake off of a certain administrator who will remain annoymous, anyways i had an advanced special short ram on it before and it made a some sort of a squealin noise so i took it off and put the stock one on. so yesterday i buy this intake and i figure it wont squeal because it is bolted to the chassis right? so i'm drivin along and i start to hear the dreaded intake squeal so i'm like what the fuck? does anyonw know wahts goin on or ever heard anything like that before? |

i sunno why that damn aem sqeeks or whatever it has a damn mounting bracket. so its not rubbing on anything. all your hoses tight? maybe your car is just a ball of gayness. |

Are you sure it's even the intake squealing? Can you see where it's rubbing or anything? |

Why would the Intake Squeal? I know it has alot of belts and pulleys attached to it but.... is it that it is rubbing on something?? |

It's gotta be rubbing somewhere. Check the brackets that are on the intake. There's supposed to be rubber grommets to keep the vibration to a minimum. |

i sold him my aem. i added the gasket along with the bracket. and its pretty tight. i wouldnt sweat it maybe people will think your boosted. muahaha. |
