Ok guys I'm ready for no or strange replies but has any of you guys ever heard that you can swap a B16 intake manifold on an EM motor (D17)?

I never heard of it. Is it supposed to bolt right up or do you have to modify the manifold?

From what i ahve heard it's a perfect match, but you have to deal with throttle cable and fuel rail issues. I wanna know if this is true or not. Plus I wanna figure out if you can switch over to a B series throttle body and are able to use/ switch the TPS to work on the setup as well.

D17s have the vertical throttle body like a D16 nonvtec in EKs or are they down flat like the D16 vtec motor?

Take a picture of yours. We'll do some picture comparisons.

Would the flange really line up? I would think it wouldn't, since most B series hardware does not interchange with D engines.

Well I have seen a few cars with manifolds on them and they switch to the side inlet like the old ones. That's no big deal, it's just the location. I need to know if it fits up and it can be benificial in a turbo application.

Here's an example, check it out:

Too bad that guy doesn't have a picture of the back of the head.

Definitely looks good, though.

No, D17 mani's are positioned with the body facing up towards the hood, like a turd d series.
