Its reliable when built right and done properly. Its not a swap you can just throw together. When and if I build mine itll take about 1-2 months to be assembled.

Jesus, what you going to do for 1-2 months? You going to sleeve it?

SO true. The biggest weak link on a LS motor is the Rod Bolts. They were never meant to go through that abuse and revs. How far you going to go with it? sleeve it? A good thumb is to not go past 12.5:1 CP on stock sleeves and you will be fine.

i wouldn't go higher then 12.0 to 1 i've put together a few motors and hondas have a problem in the head design....you have to play around with timing to much to get it not to ping

You know how i like to take my precious time. And the fact that i never built a motor. So ill be over cautious. :P .

is just as reliable as any other setup you go with, if youre constantly heavy on the gas eventually something is gonna go wrong. The people at top fuel once said in a old issue of turbo mag*if you aint breaking parts you aint doing something right*

Im sorry but that has to be the dumbest thing I have ever heard. If it is tuned right, you could be on the gas all the time. You could go with a b16a/b and be on the gas all the time. I would much rather be on the gas of a b16a/b alot more than a lsvtec.

Either way the more power you tend to put out, the more cuatious you have to be. Bleh i think this debate has been covered lol.
