 and turbos = heat. Pushes the limits of stock Civic radiators.

Yep. That's why so many cars have top-mounts, or sideways V configurations. Basically you are simultaniously restricting airflow to the rad and heating it.

BULLSHIT, I'm still running the stock half radiator, no overheating here, and I'm in Tejas to boot :?

He said it pushes the limits, not that you are guaranteed to overheat with a FMIC and stock Civic rad.

Bring your Civic to an autox or road race event and I'll guarantee you that you'll overheat.

You also have low humidity there, Dwight.

I'm going to see how long I can go with the stock rad, but any decent amount of distance it'll probably get the gauge high. It might be ok too. Who knows.

Considering your investment in turbo hardware and the engine, a koyo (or other brand) is relatively cheap insurance, IMO. I might also recommend an oil cooler.

I'm going to eventually get a Fluidyne. Just to make sure that I do run cool. Just until then I'll see how the stocker works. Might get a new rad sooner than I think

I have most of my setup bought already. I'm shooting for May to have it on and tuned.
