I'm thinking, if I buy an FMII setup (which includes a GT28 snail), is that already a "Disco Potato", and if it isn't one can be bolted in place correct? The ubiquitous FMII: http://www.flyinmiata.com/index.php?dep ... 0RED/WHITE It's my understanding that the Disco Potato is a GT28R, which is presumably better. Any input? |

Basically, Garrett developed this particular turbo on a B15 Sentra with a chameleon paintjob. The frumpy rounded lines of the B15 and the psychadelic paint earned the car the nickname "Disco Potato" which was later passed on to the turbo itself. As Munster provided, Disco Potato = Garrett GT28RS lol, Banzai called it a "DP" |
