I dont know if i have this in the right thread.....I have a 91 hatchback dx... but the other day i was driving down the highway and when i pressed on the gas it backfired twice and then shut off.....when i got on to the side of the road when i turned the key all it did was turn over and back fire.....When i got it towed home an hour later there it did nothing when i turned the key.... I checked the battery and it was charged....Ant help would be great |

Sounds like the distributor (or something inside of the distributor) to me. My CRX would do that sometimes and it turned out to be the ignitor. |
