Hey what up. I've been thinking about shit canning my turbo sohc Z6 for a B18B and boosting it. I dont know a whole lot about them so I have a few questions. What is the horsepower limits on a B18B(OBD-1) with stock internals before shit starts bending and breaking? What else would I need besides the obvious motor, tranny, ECU, etc. to do the swap? It would be going in a 95 Civic EX. Would I need a whole different wiring harness being that my sohc is vtec and the B18B isnt? if I wanted to go LS/Vtec would I be able to use the harness I have now just with a different ECU? Any info. would definatley help me out. Thanks. Peace. |

<---B18B turbo. I made 262whp and 262tq on 10psi and stock timing. Totally stock internals. I'm running a P28 w/ Hondata...just have the vtec disabled. I'll talk to you tonight about it if everyone meets up. |

def. meet up if you can I dont have an aggresive a kit as munster, but my b16 handles 14 psi tuned w/ hondata and a p28.... |

I might bump up the psi before the new block is done. Just to mess with it. Your harness will be fine. If you use a vtec ecu (planning ahead since you might want ls/vtec) and run hondata you could disable the vtec until you swap the head. Just make sure you plan ahead because no one is happy with just a little bit of boost...which is why my setup is a little overkill for my stock motor. You'll love a dohc turbo. |

haha...I think munster knows what he's talking about. I'm pretty sure there is a P28 ECU in the car now so I should be good on that. Would I be able to disable the vtec with Crome also....or just Hondata? |

Not sure. I never even looked into Crome. |

Do it. and simply use the stock integra mounts, shift linkage. use your stock wiring harness and let the vtec plugs hang there if you want, then if you do ls/vtec you can just plug em right in. I ran chrome on my b series setup, there was alot of options but i'm unsure if you can/cant dissable vtec. |
