i got the code read and its throwing code "(17) Vehicle Speed Sensor Circuit Short or open in VSS circuit, bad VSS". just wondering if i can get some advice from ya'll on fixing this prob. thanks, Jes |

Check your vehicle speed sensor. Its on the top of your tanny. Check the connection for corrosion, etc. If it looks fine, grab a friends and plug it in. What car are you driving? |

its a b16a2 in a 97 civic coupe ex. whats wierd about it is that my cluster is still working. |

That is kinda wierd. Did you try resetting the ECU? |

yup, but still check engine light. I even took off the negative on my battery, "but no cigar". |
