ok i have a 96 cx hatch that im going to put a b18 in ive finally made my mind up on motor choice after going back and forth several times, i was planning on buying a 99-00 civic si harness to make it plug and play- i think i may have to lengthen a wire or two but that should be it, i am looking at swapping in a 97-97 b18c5 or a 94-97 b18c1 i think a GSR is a c1 anyway should i go with the 99-00 civic si harness or this rywire connector for my harness i have on my motor

or post a suggestion, i was thinking it was better to go with the SI harness
opinions and thoughts welcomed
I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain
96 civic cx engine swap to b18 wiring question about harness
If you have a 96 CX a 99-00 SI harness won't work. Different plugs. obd2a vs. obd2b. The plugs at the ecu are different. You'd have to get a jumper harness. Just use your stock harness and add the necessary wires.
