nah see theres a weird proublem.. my buddy in the GSR Del Sol just got a P72 and when we put it in it throws a codes for knock sensor, but when we put his chipped P28 back in it doenst. when i talked to the loacl shop they said its fine (donno if i trust them, they blew up every one of their own cars) so i donno


and the owner wasts the take the chip out of the P28 and put it in the P72, is it possible?

the P28 doesn't look for a knock sensor, like the P72 does. You should just check the wiring for the knock sensor, becuase if he's using an ecu that looks for one, vtec won't engage because of it. But i'm pretty sure you can swap the chip from the p28 to the p72, don't see why your couldn't. Guess it really depends on how the chip was put in; soldered straight to the board or if the chip slides into one of those thingys that is soldered in.
